The Rockland peregrines were active again this early morning as the female falcon carried her pigeon catch to the masthead of the Windjammer J&E Riggin moored near the water treatment plant on Winter Street. This particular site has become a reliable feeding/perching platform for the pair. An adult red-shouldered sitting in my back yard on High Street in Warren this afternoon - most likely the same individual we recorded in the same vicinity for the Dec 21 CBC.
