On the 15th, a THICK-BILLED MURRE was seen from The Cliff House in York, located at 591 Shore Road.
A SNOWY OWL was seen at the Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick on the 15th.
Uncommon in winter, a RUDDY TURNSTONE was seen on Beach Island, off Biddeford Pool, on the 15th.
At least two SNOWY OWLS continued to be seen around Biddeford Pool this week.
A PACIFIC LOON was reported from East Point Sanctuary in Biddeford on the 15th.
Greater Portland
A RUDDY TURNSTONE was seen off Winslow Park in Freeport on the 15th.
Midcoast
Continuing from January 2nd, an immature RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was still being reported along Whiskeag Road in Bath as of the 16th. Most observations are close to the Whiskeag Creek, near the address: 166 Whiskeag Road, Bath.
Penobscot Bay
Two SNOWY OWLS continue to be seen at the Owls Head Airport this week.
On the 19th, a SNOWY OWL was reported from Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport.
An AMERICAN COOT continued to be seen in Camden Harbor as of the 15th.
Central Maine
Since November 12th, a NORTHERN HAWK OWL has been seen near the intersection of Route 116 (Penobscot Valley Ave / Route 95 Connector Road) and Route 2 (West Broadway). This bird was not seen here from the 16 through the 19th but has been seen each day since.
Downeast
On the 20th, a SNOWY OWL was seen atop a utility pole across from house #901 on Leighton Point Road in Pembroke.
