[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 2/15-21

Hi all,
Observations of note from me over the past seven days included the following:
- 1 RUDDY TURNSTONE with 6+ Dunlin, off Winslow Park, Freeport, 2/15 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 4 Greater Scaup and 1 Hermit Thrush, Fort Foster, Kittery, 2/17.
- 1 Hermit Thrush, Rte 103, Kittery, 2/17.
- 1 Northern Shrike, feeders here at the store, 2/17.
- 1 Northern Shrike, Reid State Park, Georgetown, 2/18 (with Jeannette).
- 5 Glaucous Gulls and 10 Iceland Gulls, Portland Harbor, 2/20.

- At least two drake Barrow's Goldeneye continue in the Lower Harraseeket River here in South Freeport.
- 5 Common Mergansers continue at Grist Mill Park in Yarmouth.
- American Robins and Cedar Waxwings were about as common and widespread this week as they have been all winter in my area.
