[Maine-birds] Snowy owl

I observed a snowy owl on a utility pole for over an hour located across from house # 901 on Leighton Point Rd in Pembroke. The bird was found by a local resident who notified Linda and Fred Gralinski. They located the bird this afternoon and called me. To my knowledge only a few snowies have been seen in this northern area of downeast Maine this winter.
