I wanted to remind people that a memorial service will be held for Kay Gammons this Sunday at Maine Audubon in Falmouth at 11:30 a.m.
Kay will be remembered for her quick smile and friendly and warm personality. Giving back was important to Kay and she was the bird alert before the internet. She had a list of people she called every week and answered phone calls for people about birds. She also volunteered at the bird banding station all summer long.
We hope you can join her family and friends to celebrate the life of this wonderful woman.
