[Maine-birds] Young Broad-winged Hawks - Frenchman's Hill Rd Bar Harbor

This morning at 8:00 a.m.
I think these are young Broad-winged Hawks. Please correct me if I am wrong. For once I got some good photos. I have heard these in the woods frequently while taking my morning exercise. I think Wally saw an adult here  last week. Is that a snake in the talons of the bird on the right?

p.s. if you look at the birds, maybe you would like to scroll up the blog one entry and take a peek at the cute little Heterocampa umbrata.
