[Maine-birds] Boothbay Area - Feb 02

Barrow's Goldeneye: 1 drake, 2 hens off Ocean Point

Merlin, crossed Decker's Cove (Southport)  1:13 PM

All 3 Scoters in small to very small groups

4 Lesser Scaup off Newagen,. all hens w/ mixed flock of scoter-eiders

Green crabs being consumed by Com Loons or H Grebes in more than one location.  For a species w/ "no natural enemies", they sure suffer a lot of mortality in these parts. 

Black Guillemots  the only alcids, and no King Eider.
