[Maine-birds] Winter wonderland!!

Lots of feeder activity in the backyard today!! 7 Cardinals, 14 Juncos, Sparrows - 4 Tree, 1 White-throated, 1 Song; 1 Titmouse, 4 Chickadees, 8 Starlings, and 5 goldfinches .
The 3 Robins are trying (without much success) to find something left in the crab tree in the backyard - they could have a feast in the one out front ( which seldom gets any visitors). I do not understand why that one is not popular! Maybe they just prefer to be around the other birds in the backyard even tho they have picked that crab clean.
Enjoy our return to a winter wonderland!!
