[Maine-birds] Pittston Farms

Sally and I had a nice day canoeing around Pittston Farm on Saturday.
We watched a Wilson Snipe calling for a long time. We saw baby King birds in the nest and about 70 adults, tons of tree swallows and some barn swallows.
We also watched a few spotted sandpiper chicks running around on a sandbar with their Mom. We saw what looked like  a Golden Eagle to us, but was probably an immature Bald Eagle.
There was an adult Bald Eagle and Osprey there too. Several Ruffed Grouse were on the roads. Last weekend we saw a  young moose nursing in same general area.
What a beautiful place.
