At least one of the Snowy Owls continues to linger at the Bar Harbor Airport in Trenton. Driving in the access road, a flock of ten Snow Buntings flew across the road, landing in a nearby field offering cooperative views. Alas, no Horned Larks or any other species with them. Down to the boat ramp there revealed a Glaucous Gull. I then drove around to Hadley Point, on Mount Desert Island, hoping to refind the gull from there in order to add it to my MDI year-list, but no luck. Three species of white birds in one morning feels like a good day of birding!
