I am taking a young birder out tomorrow and he would like to see snow buntings and horned larks. Where exactly are people seeing these at Flood Farms? i.e. where do you enter the farm or are people viewing the fields from the road? If I recall correctly people are allowed to view the manure pits (which wouldn't help us with this), but I've never been clear about where the entrance is for those.
If there's another place in Kennebec County or nearby Somerset for these birds, please let me know. (I sometimes have them at my house, but they haven't been around lately.) And if there are other cool birds we should try to see tomorrow, I'd love to hear that too.
Thanks for any help!
Julia
