[Maine-birds] Winter finches in China Lake village area - 2/3/19

Encountered a few winter finch species while conducting surveys in China, ME this afternoon.

A small flock of Pine Grosbeak have continued in the area nearly all winter and can usually be found near the causeway and Main Street foraging on buds. A large flock of over 100 Common Redpoll was foraging in a birch stand off Lakeview Drive. In among their ranks was a single frosty-white Hoary Redpoll.
