[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 2/2-2/8

Hi all,

My observations of note over the past seven days included the following:

- 1 immature male NORTHERN SHOVELER continues in the Lower Haraseekett River here in South Freeport.

- 1 continuing Northern Shrike, Highland Road, Brunswick, 2/2 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 2 continuing Snowy Owls, Brunswick Landing, 2/2 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- Winslow Park, Freeport, 2/3 (wow!):

1 hen GADWALL

1 hen COMMON EIDER SSP BOREALIS

2 drake, 1 hen BARROW'S GOLDENEYES

1 drake Lesser Scaup

2 hen Greater Scaup

8 Dunlin

- 6 Iceland Gulls (3 second-winter, 2 first-winter, and 1 adult), Portland Harbor, 2/5
