Before heading off to work this morning, Jeff and I swung over to look for the Rough-legged Hawk and found it on Weeks Road, along with three eagles (one carrying nesting material and was so tagged in eBird for the Maine Bird Atlas) and 61 Wild Turkeys (including several giving their showy displays).
We swung around to Beedle Road and saw a Northern Shrike perched in one of the small trees beyond the black wheel barrow in the field near the farm. Also a flock of 30+ Bohemian Waxwings near the junction of Beedle Road and River Road.
Common Redpoll at our feeder yesterday, a few blocks from the Commons.
