[Maine-birds] Pine Grosbeaks

It has been a great year for Pine Grosbeak in the Unity area.  There has been a very reliable flock on Ward Hill Rd. for the last week in the orchard which is less than a mile from Rt 220.  They are decimating the crab apples.  There have also been itinerant redpolls passing through the same area.  Please be aware that the locals travel 60 mph on this back road, so stop well off the side of the road.

Good birding,
tom
