Re: [Maine-birds] Question for moderators

Hi Myles, and other gmail users:

Anyone posting to the Maine birds Google Group from a gmail account will not receive a copy of their email to that account or any other alias accounts. Google considers this a feature to "reduce clutter" since that email exists just in their Sent Mail folder rather than having a duplicate in their Inbox.

You can always double check that your messages went through by reviewing messages on the group's website: https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/maine-birds or any of the digest sites, though they tend to be delayed, such as the ABA's listings: http://birding.aba.org/maillist/MAINE

Hope this helps,

HI,

I am new to the list-serve.  I am up in Augusta and have recently posted sighting of Pine Grosbeaks and Bohemian Waxwings.  My emails appear to have been vetted out by moderators, though I have seen others post about the same species in Kennebec County.  So I am wondering why my posts don't make it to the list-serve.

Thanks,
Myles Robert
